Lt. Hamartia White (23), a female cyborg agent with real human DNA from the GATO's transhuman project, was sent to destroy the 2045 Najid Caliphate's military targets. With the superhuman athleticism and strength 6 times of an average man, solar-fueled body specialized in physical maneuvers, solar-powered high-tech combat suit that renders her invisible at night and bulletproof when activated and when its designed durability hasn't worn out, she was either undetected or invincible during the first 40 days of her mostly solo operation.
GATO's overconfidence and overreliance on her eventually led to Hamartia's downfall.
In one place, Najid Caliphate's special force managed to put on the magnetic ring cuff on her waist, taking her invisibility away. This special magnetic alloy produced in abundance from at Zagros mountain helped the whole region's militia to contain her.
In the next stage, she lost her helmet as she was spotted by enemies taking her helmet off for solar body recharge.
In the next stage, Lt. White was commanded a deadly mission and barely escaped- with the additional of unbreakable thigh cuffs that seriously limited her running movement and magnificent leg attack.
Unable to effectively operate anymore, Hamartia requested to be received by GATO's backup force for secure withdrawal. However, GATO insisted that to reduce potential human soldier's casualties, she must try her best to make the extra 170 miles to their nearest safe meeting point: GATO's helicopter outpost in Jalalabad's forest hill ranges.
Roads to that GATO outpost are native to dozens of Pashtun guerrillas who held extreme enmity towards GATO and , ready to ambush the cyborg lady GATO agent for Najid Caliphate's 5 million dollar reward.
That day, as Lt. White entered Jalalabad hilly off roads, local militia burned the forest to cover the entire horizon in heavy smoke. It blocked all hopes for GATO helicopter's aggressive rescue mission, despite there won't be such aggressiveness on GATO's part to save a "cyborg" in the first place.

When pressed by the media to give interview accounts, GATO generals and cyborg researchers were so complacent as to reveal many previously confidential details about their cyborg agent's body tech applications- even demonstrated them with actual mission footages transmitted through her headgear's bodycam. She was boasted and branded to be a propaganda against everything the Caliphate stood for, provoking the terrorist theocracy's utmost shame and vengeful anger.
It's from there we know really how human Hamartia is: despite being equipped with advanced military AI and mechanically enhanced physics, she is essentially a human girl in the sense of being developed and raised from an embryo of modified human DNAs 23 years ago. That is to ensure her capability of empathizing with true human feelings, so she can improvise in all battle situations and achieve mission results that maximally correspond to "human purposes".
However, GATO brass and lab scientists must have not had the political wisdom to see how the matter would evolve. All along they had considered Hamartia the cyborg agent 09 just as no less disposable than her now defunct lab predecessors 01-08. That is why she was sent as a solo agent for so many deadly operations in the brutal Caliphate's heartland. They should not have dropped their guards in letting out their good share of knowledge in TV talk shows, minting a cyborg their hemisphere's unparalleled superheroine, because if they have not prepared to risk any human capitals at all in escorting her from trial in guaranteed one piece, then she won't.

Theoretically she should have known doing better than to fiddling with the surface of the AT barrier on the enemy's ground. Heavy smoke blocked her eyes from seeing clearly what exactly were attached to the tripwires that bound her feet, but the most strategic mind cannot possibly rule out that forcefully breaking them off might send signals to the enemy GPS about their top prey's precise trapped location and trigger many more automated trap commands. One of them, for example, could be a collar with chain made of Zagros magnetic ore fastening the cyborg agent's neck. Other Zagros magnetic chains could also come at her, seeking existing magnetic shackles on her upper and lower body and working together to restrain her further. Held by that way, our dear cyborg lady won't be able to exhibit too great a variety of martial move sets when those devilish chains came for her graceful arms, eventually crippling the fearsome agent girl's dexterous hands behind her back in the cruelest binding the sexy transhuman figure can take.
Out of magnetism, a Zagros magnetic chain relentlessly contracts when formed in ring shape. The human side of her was too innocent to take on what is understood to be "betrayal" and "forsaken" by her GATO household, to be denied "rights to live" promised to all other human compatriots of her, and to be lauded as an idol figure a moment earlier and dispensed with like a piece of junk in the next.
These are the real reasons for which the cyborg girl who looked a machinelike executer thus far suddenly lost all her tactical calm and built-in AI's survival instincts before the AT barrier. It's the ryona spectacle of a totally human damsel struggling in her desperate peril, not for her own liberation or survival but for a maximal degree of *** and meekness that sends the strongest provocation to both belligerent sides.
