The regional manager shifted uncomfortably in his seat. He knew that tone from his assistant, and it wasn't a good one.
"We got this message in an unmarked envelope earlier this morning. One of our best stores missed practically every order placed after 8:30 PM yesterday, and now we know why."
The man opened the envelope - inside was a picture of two employees, Mallory and Ava, heavily bound and gagged in a janitor's closet along with a small note card that simply read "You Can't Avoid Me Forever."
"Oh God... Not him. Not now..."
