This sneaky little Southeast Asian spy was way too clever for his own good — and far too playful.
On the surface, he was just an ordinary foreign student who loved wearing cheap plastic flip-flops. Every day he would casually stroll around the target building, pretending to wander aimlessly while secretly scouting for security weaknesses. The moment he saw an opportunity, he would quickly kick off his flip-flops and sneak into sensitive areas barefoot, his soft, flexible Southeast Asian boy feet moving completely silently. Those toes were incredibly nimble — able to grip small objects or push aside tiny obstacles without making a single sound. He was so proud of his “silent weapons.”
Unfortunately for him, he severely underestimated me.
As the senior American agent in charge of this counter-espionage operation, I had been watching his every move.
Last night, while he was sleeping soundly, I slipped into his apartment and decided it was time to give him a punishment he would never forget.
I tied his hands tightly behind his back with coarse rope, then stuffed his mouth full of cloth and wrapped layer after layer of thick black duct tape around his head, sealing it completely shut — not a single sound could escape. His eyes were also covered with multiple thick layers of tape, plunging him into total darkness. To make sure he couldn’t use his hands at all, I taped his fists up so tightly that his fingers couldn’t even move.
I couldn’t leave his most useful “tool” untouched either — those sneaky bare feet. I bound his two big toes together tightly with thin rope and connected the line securely to the ropes at his elbows. Now his once-silent, nimble feet were completely useless. He could only wiggle his tightly bound toes helplessly in the air, never again able to slip around barefoot to steal secrets.
When the little spy finally woke up and realized what had happened to him, he was clearly shocked and furious. He started struggling wildly on the bed, twisting and thrashing around until the sheets were a complete mess. But it didn’t take long for him to understand that all his resistance was completely pointless.
From now until I return tonight, this Southeast Asian spy who loves kicking off his flip-flops and sneaking around barefoot will have to stay right here on the bed, tightly bound and completely helpless, reflecting on his failure.
