She is attacked by a manservant who has been sent to kidnap her, after a fierce fight she is overpowered and pinned down, the manservant pulls out a plastic bag containing a chloroform soaked cotton wool pad, he pulls it from the bag, Thorson sees the pad and her eyes widen as she realises what's about to happen, she is powerless to resist and the manservant clamps the pad over her mouth and nostrils, Thorson struggles but can't break the hold, she starts to weaken as the chloroform takes effect, her eyes start fluttering, suddenly she has a fixed stare,then her eyes roll up into her head and she makes a loud gasping noise as she goes limp and passes out in the manservants arms»
