This is a clip from a video of a now-defunct heroines-in-distress video company known as Phoenix Filmworks.
«A bit anticlimactic, I would have to say- what happens to our girl-?? Does she find a way to escape the clutches of her sinister captors, or must she learn the hard way the nasty pratfalls of her chosen life of adventure-?? Either way, stripping Our Girl of her mask at the beginning is a key element of transforming a superheroine into a concubine- most masked adventurers' entire sense of confidence is contained in their anonymity- destroy that, and the adventurer's downfall is a short roll downhill. Revelation of identity is a crippling psychological blow to the masked adventurer. So- immediate elimination of mask is essential, and a nice touch, here. Question, though- if her name is "Black Mask", then what does the letter "A" on her shirt stand for-?? ( hopefully not the same thing it meant for Hawthorne's Hester Prynne! ) I guess the letters "BM" on her shirt wouldn't sound too superheroic!»
