«Wow!! What a BLAST from the PAST!!!! This show, "City of Angels", which was on NBC-TV for one season in 1976, was the show that Wayne Rogers quit 'M*A*S*H' to go do, after telling the world that he had to completely get OUT of show business altogether, in order to manage his growing business empire!! Apparently, there was some disingenuity involved in that decision, because even after "City of Angels" bombed, ( and a damn shame it did, too, because it was, up to that time, the brightest and freshest take on the 'Private Eye' genre that television had produced up to that point in time! ) he went to another series, this one on CBS, called "House Calls", which, at four seasons, ( 1979-1982 ) was considerably more successful than "City of Angels". This little clip is the VERY FIRST TIME I had seen any of "City of Angels" since the show was cancelled in late 1976!! WOW!!!!»
