Annette Benson plays actress Mae Feather in this silent film. SPOILER ALERT: This scene is close to the end and I would consider this the climax of the film. She’s plotting to kill her actor husband so she can go to Hollywood with a different actor that she fell in love with. She stole a shotgun shell and replaced the fake round with the real one. She has second thoughts once it’s about to happen but she’s gagged. Very suspenseful for an old film.
