«There is a demon that is being contained in the monastery that Katja Herbers is staying in during this scene, and this demon can be released if even one word is spoken inside the monastery walls; if it is released, it cannot be recaptured. To prevent this, anyone sleeping in the monastery has to gag themselves to avoid saying something during the night that would release the demon, hence why Katja's character is gagging herself at the start of the scene.»
